Revlon Lip Butters

Okay, so I did something a little bad today and after stopping in at Target and seeing all the new shades they had in stock I bought five. Which brings me up to eight.

From right to left, there is Candy Apple, Berry Smoothie, Raspberry Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Sorbet, Pink Lemonade, Wild Watermelon, and Juicy Papaya.

I already owned Candy Apple, Berry Smoothie, and Strawberry Shortcake. I am really excited to wear and try out the new ones, especially as we move into Spring.

Have you guys tried any of the new shades?

Blackheart Beauty Review

About two weeks ago, I went to the mall with my friend. We went to Hot Topic and while checking out I picked up the perfume (that purple bottle) from the counter. The girl at the checkout pointed out that they were having a three for two sale on Blackheart cosmetics. I picked up the nail polish and she suggested the eyeshadow primer.

In the bottle, the perfume smells pretty good. However, when I actually put it on I was not very jazzed about the smell. I had to go wash it off actually. I can't really think of anything that this smells like to compare it to. I am a little disappointed, but I only paid $5 for it so I'm not too put out.
This nail polish is great. It's very bright and lasts quite a while on your nails. I did put a clear coat over it because it applies a little flat looking and the clear coat helps it shine. I really love the packaging of it as well.

This eye primer though is probably the best impulse buy I've ever made. The lady at the checkout suggested it and said that she started using it instead of her Mac primer. I've never tried another eye primer so I wouldn't be able to speak for that. However, since I've been using it I have noticed that my eyeshadow just looks brighter going on over this. I absolutely love it and I definitely want to get more of it.

Overall, I really want to try more from the company. You can check out their website here. Have you guys ever tried their products?

Book Collectors Tag

Hello All,

So I decided to do a tag since they are one of my favorite type of videos to watch and I am just not up for making videos just yet. One day I would like to but that is far in the future. Carrying on, I saw this tag on Bookables channel and I wanted to do it immediately. Here we go...
Part of my bookshelf

Q 1: How many books do you own?

A: I have 115 books on my shelf and 39 on my nook right now.

Q 2: How long has it taken you to accumulate your collection?

A: I was around 17 or 18 when I first started to buy a lot of books. I started working and actually had money of my own. As far as my nook I have had it since September so I have been buying a lot of books on there as well.

Q 3: How often do you buy books?

A: I probably buy at least one book every two weeks when I get paid. I really should take a break and try to finish the ones I haven't read yet but it's so hard.

Q 4: How do you arrange your books?

A: I always arrange my books alphabetically by author. I just think it makes things neater and easier to find.

Q 5: What is the first book you remember buying?

A: I have no idea but the one that keeps coming to mind is The Wanderer which I bought at a book fair when I was in elementary school.

Q 6: What was the last book you purchased?

A: The last book I bought was Beautiful Chaos I think. I know the last book I bought on my nook was The Peculiars

Q 7: What is the longest book you own?

A: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at 870 pages

Q 8: What is the shortest book you own?

    A: Aquamarine at 104 pages.

Alright, so hopefully you guys enjoyed that and maybe learned a bit more about me. Also, this is completely unrelated but it is snowing at my house and I am so excited.

Jesse's Girl Nail Polishes

Hello all,

So, after seeing a post by Wonderland Wardrobe about a Jesse's Girl nail polish she was gushing over I had to try them for myself. I ordered two different shades from their website since they are not sold anywhere in my area that I have seen. One is a high intensity nail color called Midori and the other is from their limited edition JulieG collection called Birthday Suit.

I was most excited for Midori.. It is a beautiful color in the bottle and on your nails it is intense. However, when I actually put it on my nails the color was distorted the way a balloon would be,   which is not really what I pictured it looking like...I am seriously hoping anyone reading this understands what I mean about the balloon. I do like the color a lot though. It just isn't as opaque as I was hoping for.

Birthday Suit is a pretty baby pink, which I am wearing tonight. I have to wear gloves at work so my nails tend to chip pretty badly as a result but so far so good.

Overall, I really love these and I definitely want to try more from the company.
